can you put the swbf2 conversions maps to the download  page the gamefront link doesn't work for me

This is off-topic and the link on the home page of SWBFgamers does work.

I just thought of something a Released Assets section in the Downloads section would be nice.

OK, i made a new downloads section--let me know if there are any permissions issues or other issues with it.

Thanks for the suggestion!

For the preexisting files, I've fixed about 25% of the MPC links.  We have the files, but the link format is slightly different and uses SWBFgamers instead.

But any newly uploaded files will have the proper formatting for SWBFgamers and so it should not be a discouragement to modders uploading files here.

If you are looking for the SWBF Mod Map Night Server hosted by PLA for PC SWBF players,

Hi All,

I have noticed almost no one uploads any files to our downloads section.  Is there anything I can do to encourage using our site instead of filefront or what ever?

We have this site until *at least* 2014 and more if I renew (which really doesn't cost that much, in the scheme of things).  Filefront seems to delete files too soon, in my opinion.

Let me know what you think!

Aaah, thanks for suggestions.  ;) I think I'll try to contact the developers of the first two SWBFs - as jdee-barc suggested - just to find out if they are even thinking about creating the third one.

One thing is for sure--those guys would not be involved in Battlefront 3.  I strongly suggest you leave them alone.

Instead, go here and be one of a few hundred other people that have asked the same question of LucasArts:

Welcome!

We are in the middle of a sniper tournament, but when that winds down, we will get back to mod-map nights and mod map tournaments.

Well it appears Snake is missing so it does not appear we can arrange a time.

Try to get him when he comes back from the beach.

Yea but are there differences between 1.2 version & 1.3 one ?

Note that if you use the BestofPC pack, 1.3 beta will not work.

Below is the readme as available on filefront:

http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com/file/Battlefront_13_Patch_Beta;40940

Description:
This is a US only full client patch and you should have the 1.2 patch installed for it to work properly. The final 1.3 patch should be released in a few weeks but in the mean time, install this patch and give it a try. Post any bugs you encounter and I will let the developer know.

This is basically what is fixed,

CHANGES FROM 1.2
-------------------------------------------------------
Multiplayer

* Unlocked frame rate
* Better tolerance of latency spikes and frame rate spikes
* Fixed an end of game hang
* Better smoothing of predicted positions and orientations
* Allow more maps specified from dedicated server command line
* Better Droideka prediction
* Added remote admin support for those hosting dedicated servers
* Tighter clock synchronization under normal conditions
* Fixed joining servers behind most firewalls
* Allow more mod maps (was 50, now 512)

Global

* Fixed CIS Pilot shooting backwards

Happy testing
