I am personally quite excited because that was one of my concerns was the music. To me, the music is a very important aspect of movies, and Star Wars. I am a big fan of the Star Wars music (have several of the movies soundtracks), and have also really enjoyed John Williams other works. This makes me much more hopeful for the movies.

Sorry, I feel like this is a waste of a thread, I thought this was brought up before but i couldn't find the post.

but my question is what are we calling this new battlefront game by dice?

its not swbf3 they say, but we cant just call it swbf. are we just going to say swbf3 for short our abbreviations or is there another one more commonly used that i missed (and yes,  i am to lazy to call it "Ea's Star Wars: Battlefront").

I was sitting in the library trying to get through my reading, when I look up and  see this magazine poking out of the rack with an unmistakably wookie forehead showing. I dont know if that fact that I was reading it to procrastinate had any affect, but i found the article really enjoyable. It made me laugh, reminisce, think, and reflect on these great movies (and connections to life).

(I would highly suggest clicking on all the read more tabs and not just settle with the shortened version)

on a side note, this is the most html advanced post i have made so far  :cheer:

Videos and Screen Shots / Drunken rocket

Found out how to do this on accident some years ago. I call it the 'drunken soldier." It will only work if you back straight off the bar. When you jump it sets you straight again that way you can go have another round!

heres somethin cool i figured out how to do a couple years ago that i dont think ive seen anyone else do before. If you nade jump onto a fighter and enter immediately, when you exit you will be doin this flying through the air animation while able to move around, shoot, and lay mines. Jumping or rolling will take you out of it, and i think getting blasted back into the air too. I tested takeing off flying around and landing instead of getting out right away to see if it would still worked, but i dont remember if it did or not so worth trying. I dont think i ever got it to work with vehicles, turrets, or gunships.

http://<img%20src="http://video.xfire.com/s/47e3b6-3.jpg"%20/>

it seems that some units and fighters are easier then others to do this with, i think reb rocket was the easiest for me on the xwing.

probs didnt insert the vid right so here is the link http://beta.xfire.com/videos/47e3b6?

Public Square / Follow a thread?
January 12, 2013, 10:20:13 AM
Is there a way to add another tab next to forum for threads you want to follow. Something like where you could add different threads in a favorite list to easily go back to. Im to lazy to go back and find the threads i want to follow, and other times i want to read a topic but dont want to make a random post just to be notified when its been updated. This might not apply to the people who check this site more often.

Was looking some stuff up about the whole swbf problem, and ran into this Star Wars:Detours show. Doesn't look like its aired yet, but was just wondering what you guys thought about it. Perhaps somethin to take our minds of glu/gamespy/disney/lucasarts or whoever boned us.
