What are your hopes and dreams for SWBF2EA?

I'm hoping for a proper campaign, oh and the clone wars era!

What are you guys hoping for?
The years just fly past, don't they?

Basically just remake Free Radical's Battlefront 3.

If not then I hope for the following:

-all 3 eras (Clone Wars, Galactic Civil War I and II)

-Space to Ground maps

-Better Instant Action and splitscreen mode

-AT-AT that you can actually drive

-More content (20+ maps)

-Less expensive

- Campaign across all 3 eras

-More "hero" related modes

-Mod support

I'm hoping it gets cancelled.
Never let a person named AnthonyBF2 touch your BF2.

Set loadouts

More variety of weapons

Some close quarters maps

Customizable servers

Fewer game modes

No power ups (the main reason I stopped playing)

I play less now but I'll always be around, lets keep this site and battlefront going. :)

Clan/Team support

Only way I would consider buying it is if the following are included:

- More content being shipped with release (More than 4 planets)
- Have a better system for vehicle spawning/powerups
- The ability to actually gather your friends on a server and play a game
- Mod tools

I don't think there's good chances for my wishlist lol

  • All content available offline.
  • A campaign (though that's already confirmed AFAIK).
  • -- Campaign missions replayable.
  • -- Campaign missions can be played in online and splitscreen Co-Op
  • Public server browser.
  • Customizable gamemodes, like in SWBF2.
  • Custom map/mode rotations.
  • Vehicles acquired like in Battlefield and old SWBFs.
  • Vehicles with multiple positions.
  • Tanks for Rebels/Resistance.
  • Space to ground mode and/or SWBF2-esque space battles.
  • Larger variety of maps. We don't need 10 different Jakku maps. Keep it to 1 to 3 maps per planet.
  • All three eras.

-campaign
-properly expanded instant action
-more content (if you're going to restrict maps to certain game modes then you are going to need a lot more maps)
-clones wars (or enough content to justify not having clone wars)
-it needs to run on my laptop (that is kinda a limitation on my end, not much they can do about it)
bonus for
+more customization (especially in instant action)
+being modable (lol)

and probably more. I'm holding them more accountable this time around....

And i certainly wont be pre-ordering this time.

The day EA/DICE allow modding or even give us some kind of official modding tools will be the day i will be turned into an ewok.

Though these are all things we expect, we all know it won't be the end result. It'll be the same cash grab as the last one. Even now, trying to look up stuff for Battlefront 1 is impossible, because all you get is the 2015 one in place of it. Battlefront 2 will be the next one to be replaced from the public view.

No we don't. Also, let me break things down for you:

  • They already confirmed there will be a campaign.
  • There is substantial evidence that there will be significantly more singleplayer content than the previous one.
  • This is being developed by two studios instead of the one that developed the previous game.
  • Official released concept art of the game suggests that capital ship battles will be part of the game.
So it's not as unlikely as you may want to think.

Oh, it'll be a cash grab, I don't doubt that. But you cannot expect to make the same game twice and get the same amount of money from it. It has to be changed and/or expanded to some extent or it will fail. Clearly EA are not idiots, otherwise they wouldn't be making so much money. :P

The only way they are going to grab my cash is to make the game that I want. And I know im not the only one that feels this way.
#capitalism

These are all valid points, and I won't be pre-ordering EABF2 because I don't want to be disappointed again.

They also need a better hack detection system.

I managed to get a reply from them when reporting with videos a cheater.
The answer was that they did not care about cheaters because that was on each player, so they were not gonna ban them.
