So awhile back I had to reformat my computer, and windows XP was not working so I had to switch to Vista. I lost my Windows XP Disc since I've had my computer for 3-4 years now, and I was stuck with Vista. I've run into problems with vista, namely it slowing down my computer, changing my wallpaper to a black space, nagging me about every decision I make, and my favorite games, KOTOR 1 and 2 don't work on it. I put up with Vista for awhile, but now I'm sick with it and want to play some KOTOR again.

My question is, can I request for a new XP disc to be sent to me?

Depends on your manufacturer. Who is it?

Awesome, thank you. Should I get my parents to call Dell about this or what? How should I go about it?

There seems to be a form at the bottom of the page, right? Just fill it out with the requisite information and they'll likely do something about it.

they probably have a download for WinXP somewhere on the internet. All you need is your old product key.

Just a thought but i thought you weren't allowed to downgrade on Windows.
