Make attacks here!
Battles should by default be scheduled for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. However, if both clans agree, and an admin can commit to coming, then it's OK to schedule earlier in the week. Attacks absolutely must be posted by Wednesday at midnight EST.
Of course, clans may only attack planets which are connected by a line (in the tournament map) to a planet they currently control.

In the beginning, each clan may make 2 attacks per week. Because the tournament will have a shorter week-wise duration than previously, we may raise the limit to 3 if the first week(s) go well, if the community consents, and if we have enough admin support.
If a clan forfeits, their planets become native held, and attackers will face a team of "native". Anyone may show up as a native. However in this case the natives may be outnumbered by attackers. But there is a limit of 2 members per clan on the native side.
Clans can make planet announcements i.e. "call dibs" before officially listing times, as before.
All servers will be hosted by an American host.

It appears these are all too early for most of our members. A lot of people (Including me) have to work Saturday. I might be able to make YAKs (unlikely) but right now it looks like I will be missing the others.

Ok well it seems some FC members wanted to reschedule the battles too, so for now I'm changing the time to TBA. Maybe we can have a battle on Sunday and the other later on Saturday then.
We have agreed upon a new rule. If you are attacking a clan that is primarily EU players you can not schedule a attack after 10 PM Berlin. (4PM EST) This will help balance out the fact it's American servers only. However the EU clan can attack at what ever time they want. I will modify this into the original post.

I like this idea, and I would like YAK to be thought of as one of the European clans for the sake of the new rule. Even though we are not primarily European, I don't want our European players missing out because they need to sleep.
Also, YAK is swapping the times for our attacks. That should solve the problem of Jedi Temple being too early and Citadel being too late.
I will post alpha/pfa/wusi attacks shortly.

Also put edited era/sides onto other post. After playing single player on Felucia woods on single player i noticed that the rebels/clones have 3 command posts to begin with while rebels/cis have only 1, or sure if that is intentional or not, for the moment I'm assuming it is.

This is how Sereja designed the map. CP ownership can be modified so each team starts with 2 posts on server side, without player having to redownload anything (unless they want the mod for singleplayer). If Bomber wants to choose which CPs each side starts with let me know and I will edit the server fel1.lvl today.

I have updated the link on the first page for Bomber.
Make sure you have the current version of the mappack, you may need to redownload it and uninstall other/install newer one to work. (I believe the updated one is in place of the older one in the first post). Just letting anyone know whos having trouble.
EDIT: @ talley your problem with blank screen is likely because your icw5 folder is in wrong place. extract it so that it is in the game data/data/lvl_PC folder.

make sure the ICW5 folder is in that folder, blank screen usually means its not loading the maps.

Also to expand on what joseph said (because I have been asked about it) the game is balanced at the beginning of the game (as explained in rules here 1. Neither team (Attackers or Defenders) can be outnumbered by more then 2. The clan:merc ratio will stay the same and can be at most 2:1. Rounding favors mercs. So 6:3 and 7:4 are both acceptable.) If either side has more players joining once the game has started then the game is unbalanced, e.g if it is 5 vs 9, meaning 2 of the 9 players are unable to play at the beggining (in order to get 5v7) if the 5 then has 2 more players joining then it is unfair to the original 9 and it is unreasonable to balance the game while it is happening.

Majesty and Keygen have been banned from Week 1 Sunday battles.
Banning reasons:
Majesty: Using a player from YAK's roster to play for PFA & joining the sever as a YAK member during the YAK vs WGT match on Jedi Temple.
Keygen: Involvement with Majesty, Killing a admin while spectating, delaying the FC vs WGT battle on Nar Shadaa by refusing to listen to admins & attempting to kill FC players throwing off the tickets.

The reason for this was because almost all of the servers that are rented are American-based, and the player base seems to be mainly American. In the past, also, we've noticed that EU servers seem to have more lag for Americans, than EU players playing on an East Coast-based server. If this is to be changed, we would need someone willing to host an EU server and then a decision made on it.
In short, today's servers are all American.

So Americans cant keep up with EU technology it seems :P as long as servers as east coast, i get no lag here in the UK (but we have very good internet speeds)

im british. complaining is sorta what i HAVE to do.
I think the problem is that the US servers are on the East Coast so Europeans don't lag too badly and nor do Americans but while Euro servers are better for Europeans they are much worse for Americans on the West Coast.
Luckily I'm British to so I'm pretty good on either server location. :)
