Thank you :)

Seems somebody donated to promote the petition. I wish I had some money at the moment to do it myself too, but not for a couple of weeks anyway, so I'd like to thank that person for doing that.
In Progress:
--Star Wars: Battlefront - Anniversary Edition (formerly Star Wars: Battlefront - Legacy Edition)

On Hold:
--Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron For SWBF1
--Endor: Imperial Base

Aha, there is already at least one community out there working on such a reconstruction:

It was bound to happen. Such a game cannot go to waste ;)

They look like they're making fast progress.

Indeed, considering just yesterday was the basic gameplay finally introduced. I know it's a devmap at the moment and such, but the progress he's making is quite impressive. I gotta wonder how much of the singleplayer story was actually finished by the time the game got canceled since the guy is saying he might start work on the singleplayer maps once he has the basics laid down (to which, there isn't much more to add really).

All of the cutscene audio was finished. Dunno about the actual missions however. If they're not finished, he could try to base the later campaign levels off Elite Squadron for the PSP and base the Dathomir level off the DS version.

I dunno, I guess he could rip some levels off Elite Squadron, but the DS version (which I have) wouldn't be all that great for basing a good level off of, given it's top-down aspect, and the DS' limited hardware in comparison to the PSP.

Glad to hear the audio was finished, though, so even if the levels weren't completed/started, there is a good baseline to start with by working with the audio. Just saying, though, I think that FRD had gone a fair bit more in-depth with the storyline than what Rebellion ripped for Elite Squadron.

Unfortunately the cutscene audio was not finished. There were quite a few cutscenes in the leak that did not have audio for them.

Really? That sucks. I believe most of them have audio though.

Hahh i found interesting thing on the internet. One guy is trying to rebuild Battlefront 3 for PC however he is in very early stage of development:

http://commindustries.proboards.com/thread/21/star-wars-battlefront-radical-download

Like us he cant use the models from Battlefront 3 simply because he can't open the textures, just like us sadly....thats why he is using other models from the internet.
