Even though I can't vote, I would like to share my opinion.

Majesty rage quitting should not be a deciding factor.  If someone rage quits, it's their own doing.  I watched the video that Kiwi posted, and Majesty could have rejoined and played within a minute, but instead, he decides to curse up a storm and complain about how awful the tournament is.

I watched the video, and YAK captured two command posts right before the giant lag spike, and Kiwi was the only one who died during those few seconds of lag.

Alpha/PFA and YAK will have more choices on our attacks depending on the outcome of the Citadel battle, so that should be decided before the W3 thread is up.

Also, Joe was playing during the match.  The only listed admins that were present and not playing were you and Phobos.

1. I agree about Majesty quitting, however it wasn't his fault he was kicked also.
2. If you check the kill feed during the lag spike other people died.
3. Joseph isn't a Alpha, PFA or YAK member. Even if he played in the match he can still be share his opinion.

Dont worry, that is not going to happen ;)

Hahav Thanks for the vote of confidence ;)

Well watching the video it seems to me like the lag and ban didn't affect much, and Maj could have just jumped back in and would have been gone as long as if some one blew him across the map and he rolled for a while. That being said, he wasn't blown up and it was crappy that he got booted, but it was an accident. I think the raging and quitting had more of an ill effect on the results of the match than anything else, and that was his decision.

I agree 100%.

The only times that Kiwi's gameplay was noticeably (majorly) affected by lag:

Right before Majesty was booted--probably when Phobos entered the server settings:
One more person died shortly after.
When KeyGen was banned:

Just a quick 2 points to add;
People died in the lag but it was the same for everyone and we (YAK) were already at the cps taking them when the lag happened. I would say that the battle turned around the time of the lag not because of it.

I don't think there should be a rematch but I can see why it would settle arguments. I'm just glad I'm not an admin. ;)
I play less now but I'll always be around, lets keep this site and battlefront going. :)

If there was a rematch based on 1) someone rage quitted or 2) lag , then I feel this could be exploited in the future as people would just complain more about  lag or use rage quit as a way of escaping loses. Admins should make a swift decision because I'm on holiday in Spain and all this talk is making me lose sleep Kappa

Add me on steam you piece of hairy wookie

I died at the time of the first lag that Shazam posted but that's because seconds prior, Commander Jec showed me how to fly without using a jetpack.  Lag #2, Lord Satan and I were unaffected, but I do understand that getting booted can be quite disrupting / upsetting, especially during an official match.    @ times 11:15 & 12:01

I had forgotten what "trisomic" meant and had to look it up.

6:09, he left before Keygen so I'm assuming Phobos kicked Majesty (by mistake) before Keygen.
It was a glitch, I had clicked Keygen's name to boot, but it booted Majesty instead. That's when I said "wow" in the server.

I agree that rage quitting shouldn't be a factor, and lag should only be a minor factor (if that). The decision for a possible rematch should be based on A. Keygen being in half the battle when he should not have been and B. The significance of the period majesty was absent from the accidental server boot. I believe that it was perhaps the most pivotal moment in the match, both sides had similar cps, similar reinforcements, and both sides were fighting for the center cp (the battle majesty was involved in), and everyone knows how important the center cp on Citadel is (though it was only a period of 30 seconds or so) As for keygen's presence I only encountered him once myself, so idk how much of a difference it made. I think the match was definitely effected by these elements, but a rematch has its own problems (different number of people, or different people would turn up, people might change strategy etc) and as sha-zam said it would need to be resolved before the weekend because it could chance what planets each person would attack.

In short not too bothered either way and just gonna for admins to decide. In saying that though I don't speak for other people in my alliance who probably have a different point of view on it.
